NEW ORLEANS, LA – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced their 2026 NCAA DII Indoor Track & Fild All-Region Honorees on Wednesday, with ten Trojans receiving the distinction.
For the men's team, the distance medley relay team comprised of graduate
Spain Vaughan (Greer, S.C.), sophomore
Brayden Anderson (Yakima, Wash.), freshman
Gavin Malloy (Harrisburg, N.C.) and senior
Joey Tindale (Rock Hill, S.C.) earned the recognition. They are joined by pole vaulter senior
Lambdin Hardy (Commerce, Ga.) and junior
David Brown (Menomonie, Wis.) for his heptathlon performance.
The men's DMR time of 9:46.03 at the USC Invite broke AU's program record, placing the team No. 2 in the region behind conference opponent Wingate. Just shy of a podium appearance in the men's pole vault, Hardy cleared the 4.40m bar for a fourth-place finish at the South Atlantic Conference Indoor Championships and was good for second in the region. Brown's 4633 heptathlon score is good for second in the region along with a second-place finish at conference championships.
On the women's side, pole vaulters sophomore
Avery Marshall (York, S.C.) and junior
Rylie Jenkins (Loranger, La.) are joined by senior
Emma Whitaker (Inman, S.C.) for the 800m and junior
Kennedy Roush (Greer, S.C.) for the 5000m.
Marshall finished first in the region after clearing the 3.52m mark at the SAC Indoor Championships for a second-place podium appearance. Jenkins follows closely behind, clearing the 3.49m bar at the Clemson Opener. Whitaker earned a first-place finish at conference championships with a time of 2:12.63 to place second in the region. Roush is placed fifth in the region after notching a first-place finish of 9:47.15 at conference championships.
