COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Anderson University Men and Women's Track & Field programs closed out the regular season at the USC Invite on Saturday, highlighted by a new AU Record in the Men's Distance Medley Relay and all four events placing in the top 10.
The meet hosted by the University of South Carolina was comprised of top Div. I track & field programs including Alabama, UNC Charlotte, University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Mercer, South Carolina and Tennessee. Catawba and Coker were also in attendance representing the South Atlantic Conference alongside Anderson.
"USC was our final prep meet before the conference championships next weekend." said Director of Cross Country Track & Field
Kevin Eagle.

The previous record was set just last weekend at the GVSU Big Meet Friday in Allendale, Mich. Their time places the team 12th in the Nation. The top 12 teams at the conclusion of the regular season will travel to Virginia Beach, Va. for the NCAA Div. II National Championships March 13-14.
The women's 4x400m relay team comprised of sophomore

"The main goal for the weekend was trying to better our seed marks going into SAC's." added Eagle. "Even though we hoped to be a bit better than we did, it gave us a chance to see where we're at with a week to go. We're excited for what's to come this week!"
The Trojans have concluded the regular season and will travel back to Winston Salem, N.C. for the South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb. 28-March 1 at the JDL Fast Track.
