ANDERSON, S.C. -- The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Six members of the Anderson University football team were named to the team this year with Alex Ledford, Carter Wit, Chase Brightharp, Davin Patterson, Addison Nickles and Carter Owen earning the honor.

In addition to participating in 90% of a team's contests or starting in 60% of games, the student-athletes must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically and have at least a 3.5 GPA.

The Division II CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II Academic All-America® programs.
