ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University softball program has released it's 2026 season schedule, slated to begin at home when the Trojans host Barton on Sunday, Feb. 1.

Vanessa Wilson enters her first season with the Trojans.
Anderson rounded out the 2025 season going 28-24 overall and 13-11 in the conference with a 19-10 record at home.
"We are very fortunate to return such a strong group of returners for our 2026 season." said head coach
Kelly Roberts.
The 2026 44-game regular season will feature 22 home games and 22 games on the road. The Trojans will open the season at home versus nonconference opponent Barton on Sunday, Feb. 1 before traveling to North Greenville on Tuesday, Feb 3. for their first road matchup. The Black and Gold then return home to round out the first week of the season when they host Clark Atlanta on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Throughout the season, AU will host nonconference opponents Augusta, Converse, Johnson C. Smith and USC Aiken with SAC home games against Tusculum, Newberry, Lincoln Memorial, Catawba and Coker.
The Black and Gold will hit the road for nonconference opponents Emmanuel, UNC Pembroke, Claflin and Winston Salem State with SAC road games against Wingate, Carson-Newman, UVA Wise, Lenoir-Rhyne, Mars Hill and Emory & Henry.
"I believe that with their leadership, this group can have great success." added Roberts. "Our newcomers also showed that they can come in and make an immediate impact. I can't wait to see what this team accomplishes."
The first pitch of the season home opener versus Barton is slated for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1.
