Osmar Garcia-Araujo (Sugar Hill, Ga.) and women's basketball graduate
Ciara Harris (Alexandria, Va.) have been named the Jimmy John's Athletes of the week for the week of Jan. 19.
Garcia-Araujo helped the Trojans to a 2-0 week, tallying 45 points and 14 rebounds across the two games. In a top-15 matchup against No. 15 Lenoir-Rhyne, he posted 25 points while shooting 80% from the floor and 100% from the charity line. At home against Emory & Henry, Garcia-Araujo notched his third double-double of the season while putting up 20 points and grabbing 11 boards. He also added four assists, two blocks and four steals to the Trojan's tally.
Harris scored 44 points on the week while recording 14 rebounds, 10 assists and seven steals. In the Trojan's victory over Emory & Henry at home on Friday, she scored a season high 31 points and a new season high with 12 rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
