NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the cross country regional and national preseason rankings on Tuesday, tabbing Anderon's men's team second in the Southeast Region and No. 27 in the country.
 
Defending champions and fellow South Atlantic Conference competitor, Wingate, leads both polls. The Trojans are the second-highest ranked SAC team in the USTFCCCA poll, falling behind No. 1 Wingate in the region.
 
The Black and Gold kick off their season on Sept. 20 at the Bulldog Stampede in Wingate, N.C.
