ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson's Spain Vaughan (Greer, S.C.) has been named the Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, as announced by the South Atlantic Conference office on Tuesday.
 
Vaughan won the Bulldog Stampede season opener by three seconds on Saturday, posting a time of 21:43.73. His first-place finish led the Trojans to secure a team victory at the meet.
