Men's golf continues their fall slate at North Georgia's home tournament this week. Representing the Black and Gold will be freshmen Caden Olsommer (Anderson, S.C.) and Hugh Faulkner (Greenville, S.C.), sophomore Beau Lewis (Greenville, S.C.) and juniors Sam McMillan (Mount Pleasent, S.C.) and Luke Sullivan (Columbia, S.C.). The Trojans will join North Georgia in the field, alongside Lander, USC Aiken, Carson-Newman, Lincoln Memorial, Erskine, Lee, USC Beaufort, West Florida, Columbus State, Georgia College, Wingate, Georgia Southwestern and Barton.

The No. 2 ranked Trojans return to action at the Division II South Regional Preview at the Cleveland Country Club this week. The lineup features returning seniors Aly Francis, Kennedy Gooding, and Paige Paolucci while transfer Claudia Hastings and freshman Olivia Roberts round out the starting lineup. Sophomore Olivia Pellerin and freshman Lillian McDermott will be competing as individuals in the tournament.

Anderson women's soccer (2-1-1, 1-0 SAC) hits the road for the first time this season in a nonconference matchup against Clayton State (1-1-1). The two programs will meet in Morrow, Ga. for just the third time in series history. The series currently sits at 1-1 as the Lakers have claimed the most recent victory in 2023 with a 3-0 shutout. The Black and Gold won the first matchup in 2022 with a 2-0 sweep over Clayton State.

Volleyball opens South Atlantic Conference play on Tuesday against Lenoir-Rhyne who knocked the Trojans out of the SAC Tournament last fall. The Bears have gotten off to a hot start, going 6-2 over their two opening weekends, while Anderson comes into the week 3-3. Lenoir-Rhyne was picked to finish just above the Trojans in the SAC, earning the No. 2 preseason poll spot. Anderson has the all-time edge over the Bears 18-13.

The Trojans kickoff their fall campaign with a trip to Pfeiffer on Friday afternoon. The Trojans and Falcons most recently met last fall in a doubleheader that saw Anderson sweep both matches, 7-0.

The Trojans make a trip to Mars Hill (1-2) on Friday for the program's second conference matchup of the season. The two programs first met in 2009 when Anderson recorded the first win of the series with a 2-1 victory in Mars Hill, N.C. Anderson leads the series 13-0-2, tallying 34 goals on the Lions with the most recent victory at home in Sept. 2024.

The No. 4 Trojans (3-0-1, 1-0) continue conference play on Friday night at Mars Hill (1-0-3, 0-0-1). Anderson enters the contest following a 1-0 victory over Emory & Henry last weekend, while Mars Hill will host No. 13 North Greenville on Tuesday before welcoming AU on Friday. The series between the Trojans and the Lions highly favors the Black and Gold at 14-2-4, with AU's last loss to MHU coming in 2014. Last season, the matchup saw a 2-1 Trojan victory on home turf.

Men and Women's Cross Country

Anderson University cross country teams travel to Wingate, N.C. to kick off the 2025 season competing in the Bulldog Stampede hosted by nationally ranked Wingate University. Picked to finish second and third in the South Atlantic Conference, the Trojans enter the season with a robust and energized lineup.
Volleyball

The Trojans finish out week three with a nonconference matchup at Emmanuel. Anderson got a dramatic five set win over the Lions last season at home and hold a 5-1 advantage all-time. The Lions are 2-3 coming into the week but have two games slated before Saturday's contest.

The Trojans head to Mars Hill for their first conference road matchup of the season this Saturday. The Trojans are coming off their first ever shutout victory over Tusculum 30-0 holding the Pioneers to just 88 yards of total offense and holding the fourth-best rushing attack to just 74 yards. Mars Hill is coming off a dramatic overtime win over No. 23 Carson Newman last week. The Trojans fell to the Lions at home 31-16 last season.
