ANDERSON, S.C. -- Leone Corzani (Forli, Italy) of the men's soccer team and Ansley Douty (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) of the women's soccer team have been named the first Jimmy' John's Athletes of the Week for the 2025-26 school year for their performances the week of Sept. 1.

Corzani had two goals and an assist in two games last week, with one goal and one assist in the Trojans' 4-1 win over No. 25 Converse on the road and one goal in the 4-1 win over Emmanuel later in the week. The Trojans came into this week ranked No. 4 in the country and No. 1 in the Southeast Region after the two wins.

Douty got the Trojans on the board early in their 1-1 tie against Lander last week with a header in the 13th minute.

Each week, student-athletes are honored for his or her performance in competition, classroom or community, being named the Jimmy John's Athlete of the Week.
