ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University Women's Soccer (1-1-1) secured its third straight shutout victory defeating nonconference opponent Emmanuel (Ga.) (0-2), at home on Wednesday.
"I was happy with the way we controlled the game and created opportunities." said Head Coach
Sarah Jacobs. "Our defense did a great job of shutting down their attack and keeping a clean sheet. We will look forward to our first conference game on Saturday."

Aliyah Morgan earned her first career shut-out victory while being credited with three saves on the matchup.
The Black and Gold tallied 22 shots with 11 coming on goal. Anderson led the match with nine corner kicks while the Lions committed nine fouls.
The Trojans begin conference play on Saturday when they host Emory & Henry at 5:30 p.m.
