ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Trojans handily took down Lenoir-Rhyne University 18-8 on Wednesday afternoon to move to 6-1 in the South Atlantic Conference and 8-5 overall. The Trojans tied their season-high goals scored and went 19-20 in clears with 10 ground balls and 11 draw controls.

Nicole Voci. "Game after game we've improved tremendously and are really starting to believe in ourselves. As always, there's a lot of work to do in practice, but I'm proud of the way we showed up ready to dominate."
The Trojans came out to an early 4-1 lead with two man-up goals. They started the second quarter up 7-4 and went on to score eight unanswered.Â
Goalkeeper
Amelia King (Dacula, Ga.) had a career-high .556 save percentage with 10 saves.
Ava Skeffington (Charlotte, N.C.) and
Ellie Wilkins (Chuluota, Fla.) came up with five goals each to lead the Trojan offense. Wilkins' five goals were good for a career-high while Skeffington tacked on a career-high three assists for a career-high eight points.Â
Ava Scattareggia (Watervliet, N.Y.) dropped three goals all in the first half.
Megan Muir (Bedford, N.H.) buried two goals and came up big on defense with four draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Edie Wilkins (Chuluota, Fla.),
Makayla Ott (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) and
Emma Toole (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) rounded out the scoring for the Trojans with one goal each.
The Trojans are back in action on Saturday, April 12 when they hit the road to take on No. 16 Wingate University.Â
