Trojans Score Season-High 23 Goals in Win Over Emory & Henry

EMORY, VA -- The Trojans made a statement with a 23-4 win over Emory & Henry University on Wednesday afternoon to move to 9-6 overall and 7-2 in the South Atlantic Conference. Anderson currently sits tied for third place in the SAC as they head into their final two games of the regular season.

"Great team win on the road today! Emory & Henry is one of our longer away trips and we brought the energy that we needed to get the job done," head coach Nicole Voci said.

The Trojans put up 11 goals in the first quarter and went into halftime up 15-0. The Wasps notched two goals in the third and fourth quarter but the Trojans tacked on another eight.Ā 

Ellie Wilkins (Chuluota, Fla.) tied her career-high of five points with four goals and one assist with a career-high .444 shooting percentage to lead the Trojan offense.

Ava Skeffington (Charlotte, N.C.) had her 11th hat trick of the season with three goals on four shots. She picked up one ground ball and had one caused turnover.

Blaine Randolph (Charlotte, N.C.) had two goals and two assists for a career-high four points. She also had one ground ball, one caused turnover and one draw control.

Jerianne Morris (New Port Richey, Fla.), Brooke Kelley (Anderson, S.C.), Makayla Ott (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) buried two goals each.Ā 

Megan Cann (Rancho Murieta, Calif.), Edie Wilkins (Chuluota, Fla.), Megan Muir (Bedford, N.H.), Emma Happel (South Hamilton, Mass.) Emma Toole (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.)Ā and Ava Scattareggia (Watervliet, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring with one goal each.

The Trojans are back in action on Saturday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. when they host Mars Hill University for Senior Day.
