Trojans Open Conference Play With 15-11 Win Over UVA Wise

ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Trojans got their first win of the season in their South Atlantic Conference opener on Saturday afternoon, topping UVA Wise 15-11 to move to 1-1 over the season and handing the Cavaliers their first loss.

"I'm incredibly proud of the way our team responded this week," head coach Nicole Voci said. The hustle and effort were outstanding, and it paid off with our first conference win of the year. This is just the beginning—I'm excited to see how we continue to grow and improve as the season goes on."
