ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Anderson University women's track & field program was picked sixth with 92 points in the South Atlantic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll as announced by the conference on Thursday.
Wingate and Lenoir-Rhyne were picked as the top teams in the 2025 SAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Poll. The Bulldogs topped the poll with 10 first-place votes from the leagues head coaches, while the Bears earned one first-place vote to earn the No. 2 spot.
Catawba placed third in the poll with one first-place vote and 106 points followed by Tusculum with 98 points for fourth and Lincoln Memorial with 95 for fifth. Carson-Newman took seventh with 76 points and Newberry was tabbed for eighth with 62 points.
The ninth spot was given to Mars Hill with 48 points, followed by UVA Wise and Emory & Henry, each receiving 37 points to tie for No. 10. Rounding out the poll was No. 12 Coker with 31 points.

Emma Whitaker were each named athletes to watch for the Trojans.
