AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Trojans earned a comeback 80-73 victory on the road over nonconference opponent Georgia Southwestern State University (7-4) on Wednesday afternoon to round out 2025. Anderson moves to 5-6 overall with the win.
"The second half was a great way to close out 2025," head coach
Jonathon Barbaree said. "Hopefully we can carry that over into the new year. We played with confidence on offense to start that third quarter and that's what led to playing better defense. They were "extremely" challenged at halftime by me and they stepped up to that challenge and that's what it's going to take to be successful moving forward. I am so proud of them and the way they responded."
