ANDERSON, S.C. - The weekly Trojan Preview is your one-stop shop for all the information for the upcoming week in Trojan Athletics.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29TH

Women's Basketball
at Coker | 5:30 PM | Harris E. & Louise H. DeLoach Center | Hartsville, S.C.
Anderson holds a 41-3 overall record over the Trojans winning the December matchup, 81-78. Coker currently has posted a 17-1 overall record and 13-1 record in the SAC with its only blemish coming from the Black and Gold.

Men's Basketball

The Trojans and the Cobras will meet up for the second time this season on Wednesday in Hartsville. The Trojans came up just short in the last contest, falling 100-97 while Coker remained undefeated. Coker has since lost five games but is currently on a two-game winning streak. Anderson had their second-highest scoring game of the season against the Cobras and will need to come up with that production again as they are averaging 105.0 points per game.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 31, 2025

Men's and Women's Tennis

at Columbia | 2 PM | Koala Tennis Courts | Columbia, S.C.
Men's Tennis – Anderson defeated Columbia in its only match, 7-0, which was played a season ago in late March.
Women's Tennis – The Trojans lead the overall series 11-6 winning the last 11 matchups.

Baseball
vs Emory & Henry | 4:00 PM | Anderson Memorial Stadium (Anderson, S.C.)

The Trojans open their 2025 campaign with a visit from the Wasps of Emory & Henry. A relative newcomer in the ranks of Division II athletics, the Wasps hold a 4-2 advantage all-time against the Trojans, though Anderson was able to take series last year with a 9-8 in the rubber match.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2025

Men's Lacrosse

The Trojans kick off their fifth season as a program on Saturday with a noon non-conference matchup against Young Harris. This year marks the fourth-straight the Trojans have faced off against the Mountain Lions, with Anderson winning each of the previous three contests. The Trojans have scored 20 or more goals in each of their wins over YHC, with last year's meeting being a 20-5 AU victory.

The Trojans and Sand Sharks are knotted up with a 3-3 overall series record. AU won three straight with USC Beaufort winning the last two matchups.

Women's Basketball
vs Lincoln Memorial | 2 PM | Abney Athletic Center/Annie Tribble Court | Anderson, S.C.
The Trojans have posted an overall record of 24-7 which includes an away victory in early December. Anderson has won the past five matchups and the last 11-of-12.

Men's Basketball
vs. No. 6 Lincoln Memorial | 4:00 PM | Abney Athletic Center

Lincoln Memorial comes into the week ranked No. 6 in the country with a 14-3 overall record. They suffered just their third loss of the season to Wingate at the end of last week and will be looking to bounce back. The Trojans were just two points from a win in the two teams' December meeting, 73-71.

Anderson's track and field teams travel to Alabama on Sunday for a one-day meet hosted by the University of South Alabama. 

Men's and Women's Tennis
at Columbia State | 2 PM | John W. Walden Tennis Center | Columbus, GA.
Men's Tennis – The first match against Columbus State dates back to 2009 when the teams faced off in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Cougars claimed the 5-3 victory and pushed its overall series standings to 10-0.
Women's Tennis – The Black and Gold look to earn its first win over the Cougars.
