ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson's Spain Vaughan (Greer, S.C.) has been named the Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week and Kennedy Roush (Greer, S.C.) has been named the Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 22.
 
Both the men and women traveled to Kenosha, Wis. on Saturday to compete in the Lucian Rosa Invitational hosted by UW-Parkside.
 
Vaughan led the men to an 8^th place team finish among nationally-ranked teams. He placed 28^th out of 220 on the field with an 8k time of 25:13.84.
 
Kennedy finished 15^th in a field of 207 athletes with a 6k time of 21:45.74. Her performance led the women to a 17^th place team finish among top Division II competition.
 
Both the men and women are back in action on October 11 at the UAH Charger Invitational in Huntsville, Ala. This meet will mark the last in regular season competition.
