ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University Director of Tennis,
Joey Eskridge, has released his Men's and Women's 2025 Tennis schedules.
The 2024 Anderson men's tennis team finished its season (10-9, 4-8 SAC) just missing the South Atlantic Conference tournament. With a solid group returning for the 2024-25 season, the Black and Gold finished the 2024 fall season (6-1) heading into the upcoming championship segment.
The 2024 Anderson Women's Tennis team finished the season (12-8, 6-6 SAC). The Black and Gold were defeated in the SAC Quarterfinals by Wingate, 4-1.
During the 2024 fall season, Anderson had an unblemished record of 6-0.
With both teams having an outstanding fall season, Eskridge has now amassed a combined 410 overall wins in his 17
th season at the helm of the Black and Gold.
This year's schedule features eight home matches. The Black and Gold will host two of the nonconference opponents, USC Sumter (men) and Erskine (women). Anderson will also play host to conference opponents Coker, Tusculum, Carson-Newman, Limestone, Emory & Henry and Catawba.
The Trojans are scheduled for nine road trips. Nonconference travel plans includes Columbia, Columbus State, and USC Sumter while the conference itinerary involves Lenoir-Rhyne, Lincoln Memorial, Wingate, Mars Hill, UVA Wise, and Newberry.
The 2025 slate gets underway on January 31
st when the Trojans visit nonconference opponent Columbia. First-serve is scheduled for 2 pm.
