TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2024

Volleyball

The Trojans will look to make it ten straight wins as they head to Mars Hill for their second meeting this season with the Lions. Anderson got the win earlier this season 3-0 and didn't allow Mars Hill to score more than 18 points. The Lions haven't lost since they came to Abney, and come into Tuesday's game with a 10-8 overall record and a five game winning streak of their own.

Women's Basketball
at North Carolina State University | 7:00 PM | James T. Valvano Arena at William Neal Reynolds Coliseum (Raleigh, N.C.)
Anderson has played the Wolfpack on two occasions as an exhibition contest. NC State has won both previous meetings which were in 2018 and 2019.

Men's and Women's Tennis

Anderson men's tennis has posted an overall record of 12-4 over North Greenville while winning the nine meetings.
Anderson women's tennis holds a 15-3-1 overall record over the Trailblazers. The Trojans have won 10 straight over North Greenville.

Men's Soccer

Men's soccer opens the week on the road against Tusculum, a matchup that was originally scheduled for last month but was postponed due to Hurricane Helene. The Trojans enter the contest sitting 5-6-1 on the season and 4-4 in SAC play, while the Pioneers are 1-7-2 overall and 1-4-2 in the league. Anderson holds an 8-4-3 advantage in the series over Tusculum, though the two most recent meetings ended in ties—0-0 in 2023, 1-1 in 2022.

Men's and Women's Tennis

Anderson men and women both squared off with Truett McConnell for the first time last Friday (Oct. 18^th). Both teams were successful defeating the Bears, 7-0.

Women's Basketball

This is the first meeting between Anderson and Georgia Tech (Exhibition).

The Trojans will be coming into Friday's matchup against Wingate with something to prove after getting swept by the Bulldogs earlier this season. Wingate is currently receiving votes in the national poll, and they come into the week with a 18-2 overall record and 10-1 record in the SAC.

The Eagles hold a 13-6-1 overall record over the Black and Gold. Anderson had won two straight before falling 2-1 last season in the South Atlantic Conference quarterfinals.

Anderson comes into the week looking to upset the Eagles at their homecoming in their first ever meeting. The Trojans are coming off of a 30-28 loss while the Eagles are coming off of a loss of their own to Emory & Henry 17-10. It was Carson-Newman's first loss of the season.

Men's soccer rounds out the week welcoming Carson-Newman on Saturday. The Eagles travel to Anderson following a 2-1 victory over Wingate last weekend—a win that pushed the Eagles to a record of 4-7-3 overall and 3-5-1 in conference play. The series between the sides sits at 6-8-2 in favor of Carson-Newman. 
The match serves as Senior Day for the Trojans. Anderson will recognize four seniors prior to kickoff.
