TOCCOA, Ga. -- The Trojans wrapped up the fall half of their campaign on Tuesday, hosting the McCoy Wright Currahee Collegiate Invitational.
No. 14 Columbus State and No. 32 USC Beaufort tied to win the tournament at +7, followed by Shorter in third at +22, No. 22 Wingate in fourth at +28 and No. 30 Catawba in fifth at +33. No. 19 Anderson finished 16th in the field.
Graduate student Jamie Markwick (Bishop's Waltham, England) led the Black and Gold with an 11th-place finish after carding a 70(-2) third round to end the tournament four-over. Sophomore Luke Sullivan (Columbia, S.C.) shot the second-best round for the Trojans, shooting a 75(+3) opening 18.
Men's golf returns for their spring season Feb. 10-11 at the LMU Spring Kickoff in Tennessee.
