Fresh off their first No.1 National Ranking in program history, and a record setting outing at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, the Anderson women's golf team travels to Florida for another test as they join a loaded nationally ranked field. No. 2 Wingate, No. 17 Saint Leo, No. 18 Rollins, and No. 19 Nova Southeastern all join the field.

Anderson's men's golf concludes their fall campaign hosting the third-annual McCoy Wright Currahee Invite. The No. 19 Trojans welcome a competitive field with teams from across the region including No. 14 Columbus State, No. 17 Lander, No. 22 Wingate, No. 30 Catawba, No. 32 USC Beaufort, Erskine, Belmont Abbey, Newberry, Limestone, Emmanuel, Shorter, Young Harris, Barton, Carson-Newman and Coker.
The Black and Gold will be represented by
Simon Wright (Lancaster, S.C.) and
Luke Sullivan (Columbia, S.C.), who were respectively slated No. 48 and No. 82 on the individual leaderboard of this season's first National Collegiate Golf Rankings, along with

Can Gürdenli (Istanbul, Turkey).

The Trojans will look to extend their seven-game winning streak and win the season series against the Catawba Indians on Tuesday. Anderson took the first meeting 3-0. Catawba comes into Tuesday with a record of 3-11 overall and 1-6 in the SAC while Anderson is looking to stay hot with a 12-7 overall record and 8-3 record in the SAC.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23

Anderson leads the overall series, 9-1, with its only loss coming in 2008 at North Greenville. The Black and Gold and the Trailblazers have not played since 2016.

The Trojans will face Emory & Henry for the first time this season in a road matchup. This will be just the third time the two teams have met, and the Trojans have yet to lose to the Wasps. Emory & Henry comes into the week with a 3-15 overall record and is winless in the SAC.

Men's and Women's Cross Country

Postseason begins with the South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Championships. This year's race takes place in Newberry, S.C.
Anderson's men's squad currently sits No. 28 nationally and No. 3 in the region. Picked third in the SAC Preseason Polls, the Trojans look at this race as an opportunity to confirm themselves as a top contender in the conference, with goals of the SAC Championships being the first of a multi-meet postseason run.
The women's team, currently No. 5 in the Southeast Region polls, was also tabbed third in the conference to kick off the season. The Trojans are ready to measure their growth from the start of the season in this highly competitive SAC meet.

Anderson looks to bounce back from their loss at home this past weekend as they make the trip to Greeneville, Tenn. for the program's first meeting with Tusculum. The Pioneers are winless on the year both overall and in league action. They are coming off a 30-3 loss on the road at Mars hill, while the Trojans fell at home to Emory & Henry, 34-3.

Anderson holds a 7-5-2 advantage over the Railsplitters. The 2023 matchup resulted in a 1-1 tie while the Black and Gold won the previous 6-of-7 which included three overtime wins.

The Trojans travel to Tennessee to face LMU, following back-to-back one-goal losses to nationally-ranked SAC opponents last week. Sitting 4-6-1 on the season and 3-4 in conference play, Anderson looks for three points against the Railsplitters, who enter the contest at 7-2-3 overall and 4-2-2 in the SAC.
Lincoln Memorial holds a 9-7-1 advantage over AU. Last year's regular season matchup between the two resulted in a 3-1 Trojan victory, before a postseason rematch saw LMU claim a 3-1 win of their own in the SAC Quarterfinals.
