ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson men's soccer hosted No. 5 Limestone on Wednesday evening for a competitive South Atlantic Conference matchup that saw the Saints top the Trojans, 1-0. 

Trojan keeper Franco Antoniolli Funes (Cordoba, Argentina) posted a season-high nine saves against the Saints, facing 20 shots, 10 of which came on frame. The Trojans conceded the only goal in the 15th minute of play before holding the Saints scoreless for the remainder of the match. 

Lead by Juan Pablo Lepervanche (Caracas, Venezuela) with four and Diego Jaramillo (Cali, Colombia) with three, the Trojan offense tallied 11 shots on the night but were ultimately unable to find the back of the net. 

AU looks to bounce back on Saturday night against No. 11 Coker. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 PM at Spero Financial Field.
