Wingate played to a scoreless draw Saturday night at the WU Soccer
Complex.
With the draw, Anderson moves to 4-4-2 in league and 9-3-3
overall with its final SAC battle slated for Nov. 2. Overall, the
Trojans tally their third draw of the season as the team has played
in seven overtime contests for the year. Wingate remains in second
in the conference standings with the tie, going to 10-4-1 overall
and 7-2-1 in the SAC.

Da Silva tallied eight shots with two on goal.

"We asked for a response from our guys and they came through
with a complete effort," Anderson head coach John Murphy said. "The
match was very difficult and both teams played to win and both of
us created chances. It was a sporting game and that was the
intensity it takes at this level. We hope to bring that intensity
this upcoming week."
The Trojans return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 30 for a key
regional matchup with Peach Belt Conference foe Francis Marion
before closing their regular season with Carson-Newman on Nov. 2.
