April Hetzel is entering her first season as team chaplain for the women’s lacrosse team. 

Serving on staff for more than 17 years with Cru and 4 of them on Anderson’s campus, April has made it her mission to lead athletes but also help them lead others as well.

As team chaplain, she is committed to providing a safe space for players, coaches, and supporting staff. She values deep, meaningful conversations and is ready to address any questions about faith and life. April is dedicated to supporting players through the highs and lows, both on and off the field, fostering a sense of community within the organization.

She resides in Anderson with her husband, Ed, and 4 children.
