DAHLONEGA, Ga. -- Wrapping up their second tournament of the season, the Anderson University men's golf team turned in a third-place finish in a nationally stacked field as they broke the program record for 18, 36 and 54-hole scores.

"Unbelieveable week for us," said head men's golf coach Daniel Coker. "18, 36, and 54 holes records all broken! Third place in the best Division II field in the country all year, a great performance."

The Trojans set the new 18-hole record with a 273 in the third round while their combined second and third rounds scores shattered the 36-hole mark. 

Graham Boone finished as the highest Trojan on the leaderboard with a -4 performance on the week, finishing under par in rounds one and three for a 13th place finish. Caden Olsommer was just a stroke off of his pace at -3 for the tournament, finishing 17th. Hugh Faulkner and Sam McMillan placed 24th and 29th on the week with scores of E and +1 while Beau Lewis rounded out the five scorers with a +13 showing on the week. Cal Harbin completed the tournament as an individual and wrapped up the two days with a score of +11.

The Trojans have a week off from the course before hosting the Currahee Collegiate in the first week of October.
