Anderson University is honored to be hosting the Regional Round of the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament in Anderson, S.C. This page will serve as a centralized location for all the information that you will need throughout the tournament including live stats and video as well as a parking, lodging, and restaurant options.

PARKING AND FACILTY INFORMATION

Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Abney Athletic Center. Additional parking is available on-campus, but no shuttle services will be available. Handicap parking is available in the front of the Abney Athletic Center and along the front row of the Student Center Parking Lot.

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets will be sold at the door only. Seats in the reserved sections will be available on a first come-first served basis. Tickets will be available at the door (cash or credit card) for $10 Adults ($20 All Sessions Ticket) or $5 Students/Child/Military/Senior ($10 All Sessions Ticket).

ANDERSON UNIVERSITY ATHLETIC POLICIES

The Abney Athletic Center follows all rules of Anderson University, the South Atlantic Conference and the NCAA. Pets are not allowed on site without certified service credentials that must be shown upon request of the Anderson Staff. No glass bottles, weapons, concealed or otherwise or alcohol is allowed on the campus of Anderson University. If you require accommodations, please contact the Anderson University Athletics Department as far in advance as possible so we can make every attempt to meet the necessary accommodations.

MEDIA POLICIES

Select coaches and players from both teams will be available for comment and interviews after a mandated 10 minute cooling off period after the completion of each game. This availability will take place in the Media Room located on the top floor of the Abney Athletic Center. All interviews will need to be coordinated with the onsite Athletic Communications Coordinator, Mike Sanders or with the SID of the participating team.

Media credentials are available through the Anderson University Athletic Communications Department by contacting Associate AD Mike Sanders at msanders@andersonuniversity.edu or at (919) 559-1745. There will be limited space available for visiting media, but the host will accommodate as many outlets as possible, giving first right of refusal to those competing at that time. Your media credentials will allow you access to this area.

ATHLETIC TRAINING

Athletic Training facilities will be available for the use of all athletes. Any team traveling without an athletic trainer will need to coordinate with Assistant A.D. for Sports Medicine Scott DeCiantis.

ABOUT ANDERSON, S.C.

The City of Anderson is located in the northwest corner of the state of South Carolina on the Piedmont Plateau. It is the county seat located in the geographical center of the county and the principal city in Anderson County. The City is ideally located on the busy Interstate 85 corridor, to which much of its economic growth can be attributed. The City lies on the southern border of Interstate 85 and is approximately 127 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia, and 132 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina. The City encompasses approximately 14 square miles and is located in the geographical center of the county. The I-85 corridor from Atlanta to Charlotte is now known as one of the nation’s hottest growth areas. Anderson County, South Carolina lies midway between Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina. This stretch of highway is one of the heaviest traveled highways in the southeast. Business leaders and development officials in Anderson have taken advantage of this asset, and visible progress is the result.
