Box Score ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Trojans battled through a four hour match and a lost doubles point to earn a 4-3 win over Lincoln Memorial on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Westlyn Morris (Inman, S.C.) put up a fight at the final court to finish, going down 7-5 in the first set and winning the next two 6-3, 6-3. Anderson moves to 1-1 in the SAC with the win.

"Great team win for the girls so proud of them especially freshman Westlyn Morris coming out today and showing what she's made of and getting the victory for the Trojans," head coach Joey Eskridge said. "Just thankful for the beautiful day that God gave us and the chance for us to play a sport we love and look forward to the next one on Wednesday at Tusculum."

Junior Elena Ronconi (Salta, Argentina) and senior Grace Weaver (Lake City, S.C.) earned a 6-3 win at court one in doubles while the Railsplitters took the wins at the other two courts.

Aside from Morris, three other Trojans stepped up in singles to get the win.

Junior Alexandria Braithwaite (Oakville Ontario, Canada), earned 6-0 and 6-1 wins at court one.

Courts 3-6 all got wins, including Morris at No. 6. 

Sophomore Ensley Collins (Cleveland, Tenn.) taking 6-1 and 7-5 wins over her opponent at No. 3.

Sophomore Mara Opre (Atlanta, Ga.) earned 7-6 and 6-3 wins at No. 5.

The Trojans are back in action on Wednesday, March 4 when they take on Tusculum on the road at 2 p.m.
