Megan Muir (Bedford, N.H.) and sophomore
Ava Skeffington (Charlotte, N.C.) have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Atlantic All-Region Second Team for their accomplishments in the 2025 season.
Skeffington's sophomore campaign culminated when she was named the South Atlantic Conference Attacker of the Year after scoring the second-most goals in the SAC with 61 and putting up 68 points, good for fourth in the SAC. She shot 50.4 percent and was 20-26 from free position, the second-best in the conference from the 8-meter. She hit two major milestones this season with her 100th career point and 100th career goal. Skeffington was also named to the All-SAC First Team and earned SAC Offensive Player of the Week honors once this season.
Muir was named the SAC Freshman of the Year, finishing the season on top of the conference leaderboard in ground balls with 72 and caused turnovers with 46. She was ranked 13th in the nation in ground balls. She also picked up 56 draw controls and was third for the Trojans in goals with 33. Muir was named to the All-SAC Second Team and earned SAC Defensive Player of the Week honors once this season.
Skeffington and Muir are the second and third All-Region honorees in program history.
