No. 12 Anderson Defeats Coker in Dominate Fashion, 25-10

ANDERSON, S.C. -- The No. 12 Trojans (8-2, 5-0) picked up their sixth-straight win on Saturday evening, defeating the Coker Cobras (5-6, 2-3) by a score of 25-10. The game marks the fourth in a row that Anderson has boasted 20 or more goals and secures an undefeated month of March for the Black and Gold.

The Trojan offense continued their season of success, opening the contest with eight-straight goals, taking a 12-2 lead into halftime. Following the break, AU exploded for a ten-goal third quarter and rounded out the night with a 25-10 victory.

Team-leading scorer Ryan Bitterman (Alpharetta, Ga.) totaled four goals, three assists, three groundballs and a caused turnover on the night. He moves his season goal count to 40—the second-most in the South Atlantic Conference this year. Bitterman is third in the nation in goals per game.

Brodie Deutsch (Wilmington, N.C.) added three goals from three SOG to the Trojan scoreline, along with two assists, while Radyn Badraun (Mission Viejo, Calif.)'s hat trick earned his sixth game of three or more goals this season.

Four Trojans recorded a brace on the evening, including Cole Sparks (West Islip, N.Y.) who added four assists, two GBs and a CTO. He continues to lead the team in assists, having 28 on the season so far—the third-most in the league. Sparks is sixth in the nation in assists per game.

The Trojans forced Cobras turnovers, led by Chris Czulada (Boynton Beach, Fla.), who added three CTOs to his season resume, advancing to 19 on the season.

Anderson combined for 61 shots in the contest, with 39 coming on frame, while Coker recorded 29 shots, 21 being on target. AU completed 21-22 successful clears, holding the Cobras to 13-19.
