Box Score MARS HILL, N.C. – In a rescheduled match following stormy weather last month, the Trojans (7-4-1, 4-3 SAC) defeated conference opponent Mars Hill in a 3-0 (1-10, 0-8 SAC) shutout on the road Wednesday evening.

The Trojans exploded in the first half of the match with junior

Ansley Douty (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) in just the fifth minute of play. Douty followed when she rounded the keeper to score after an assist by senior
Camryn Woods (Bettendorf, Iowa) and sophomore
Ashton Douty (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) in the 58
th minute with Anderson leading 2-0 heading into the final half. Rounding out the scoring, a goal by freshman
Jazel DeOliveira (Florianopolis, Brazil) added the Trojan's third goal of the match in the 81
st minute. The solo goal was her first of the season.
The Trojans lead the game with 26 shots compared to the Lions' single attempt with Mars Hill taking a more physical approach, committing 10 fouls to Anderson's six. R-Sophomore goalkeeper
Aliyah Morgan (Fort Myers, Fla.) posted her sixth shutout victory of the season, recording a lone save on the pitch.
The Black and Gold are back in action for senior night on Saturday when they host conference opponent Lincoln Memorial. The match is slated for 6 p.m.
