Rose Gravel recorded her fifth double-double of the season to help lift Anderson women's basketball (9-6, 5-4 SAC) to a road win over South Atlantic Conference opponent Emory & Henry (5-10, 0-9 SAC) on Saturday afternoon at the King Center.

"We played a little sloppy at times, but overall I was pleased," said Barbaree.
'I look forward to building on this and playing at home this week," added Barbaree.
The Trojans forced 24 miscues recording 19 steals on the afternoon. Senior
Zamiya Passmore and junior
Ashlyn Sheridan combined for 11 steals with six and five, respectively.
Anderson built an eight-point lead after one quarter of play, 26-18. The Wasps were able to cut into the lead to tie the contest at 31 with 6:15 left in the second period. AU responded with 7-0 run to eventually carry a five-point lead into the half.
After losing the third period, 20-17, the Black and Gold put together a solid fourth quarter to secure the victory. Anderson began the fourth with an 8-0 run to create separation. Passmore scored three-straight layups with Gravel capping off the run with a layup of her own.
Emory & Henry could get no closer than six points (1:23). With the Wasps forced to foul, Anderson met the challenge draining 5-of-6 foul shots to earn the win.
Gravel scored a team-high 21 points and ripped down a team-high 12 rebounds. The native of Ocala, Fla. was also credited with three blocked shots and two steals. Passmore finished with 16 points, six assists and six steals while Sheridan netted 15 points with seven rebounds and five steals on the afternoon. Senior
Diamond McDowell reached double-digit rebounds with 10 while chipping in seven points.
Emory & Henry placed four in double-digit scoring with Breanna Yarber scoring a game-high 25 points. Yarber pulled in 11 rebounds to record a double-double along with teammate Gracyn Hall. Hall pitched in 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Emma Santoro and Tori West contributed 15 and 10 points, respectively.
Anderson returns home on Wednesday to host SAC member Newberry. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 pm.
