ANDERSON, S.C. – Due to the effects of Hurricane Helene that continued to plague the Upstate of South Carolina and continues to leave many without power, the Anderson University Athletics Department has announced the following changes for this weekend's schedule.

As announced by the university earlier today, all Homecoming and Family Day activities have been postponed and tentatively rescheduled for November 9.

In conjunction with that, the Anderson football game originally scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. will now have a change of time and venue. The game has been rescheduled to Catawba College on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Parking lots and tailgating will open at 10:00 a.m. in Salisbury, N.C. and stadium gates with open at 12:00 p.m.

Catawba will be honoring all tickets purchased for the game bought through Anderson, with all tickets receiving complementary general admission to the game. Those who have purchased reserved seats at Anderson will also receive general admission tickets to the game in Salisbury.

For those that have purchased tickets for this weekend's game and will not be making the trip to Salisbury, please email [email protected] to exchange your tickets for a future home game at Melvin and Dollie Younts Stadium.

In addition to the football game being altered, the Anderson men's and women's soccer team's contests have also been changed. With the absence of football on the schedule at Younts Stadium, the two soccer contests will now take place at Anderson on Saturday, October 5 with the women kicking off at 5:00 and the men's game to follow at 7:30.

The women's volleyball game scheduled for Friday, October 4 against Tusculum is currently on as scheduled.
