GREENWOOD, S.C. – Anderson University women's soccer (4-2) dropped a nonconference road match at Lander (5-0-2), 2-0, on Wednesday evening at Van Taylor Stadium.

The Bearcats scored just before the half to go ahead, 1-0, out shooting the Trojans 5-1 in the first 45 minutes.
Lander continued to control possession in the second 45 only allowing AU to take one shot for a total of two for the contest. The Bearcats were able to fire away 15 shots adding a security goal in the final two minutes of play.
Anderson returns to South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday when it travels to Tusculum. Kick-off is scheduled for 2 pm.
