Trojans Drop Road Contest at Catawba; 4-0

SAILSBUY, N.C.– Anderson University women's soccer dropped its South Atlantic Conference road contest, 4-0, at Catawba on Saturday evening at Frock Soccer Complex.

"Tough result tonight," said head coach Sarah Jacobs. "We will learn from this and move forward."

The Trojans gave up one first half goal and three second half goals to the Indians.

Anderson was outshot 22 to four with Catawba taking eight to AU's one corner kick.

Anderson's keeper Jeanette Campbell recorded seven saves in 60 minutes of action while freshman Macy McDufford was credited with four stops in 30 minutes of play.

The Black and Gold will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to nonconference opponent Emmanuel. Kick-off is slated for 5 p.m.
