Jakob Lowrance is stepping into his first season as assistant coach for the Anderson University men's basketball program.
Lowrance graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management. He played basketball for the Division II program for four years and was named All-Conference twice, CoSIDA Academic All-American twice and receive dhte Vernon Kennedy Award (UCM Male Senior Student-Athlete of the Year).
Lowrance went on to play professionally overseas from 2019-24. During that time he played for Iraurgi Saski Baloia (Azpeitia, Spain), Maia Basket Clube (Maia, Portugal), ABC Athletic Constanta (Constanta, Romania) and CSM Targu Mures (Targu Mures, Romania).
Lowrance and his wife, Rylee Lowrance, live in Anderson, S.C. He was raised in Bethalto, IL by his mom, Jeanette Lowrance, and dad, Tim Lowrance. He has one brother, Kaleb.
