Attended Wren High School where he was a six-year member of the varsity cross country and track & field programs...Two-time cross country all-region honoree...Cross Country All-State selection...Four-time cross country state champion...Five-time track All-Region honoree, seven-time All-State selection and an individual state champion...Helped his team to a cross country state title and two track state titles...Member of the National Honor Society, Palmetto Fellows and Beta Club.
