ANDERSON, S.C.--Anderson University's Men's Soccer Head Coach Michael Zion has announced the schedule for the upcoming fall, a slate that includes six games on home turf and nine matches on the road. The Trojans will face five non-conference opponents and ten South Atlantic Conference foes.
The season opens Sept. 4 in Spartanburg, as the Trojans look to avenge last year's loss to Conference Carolinas powerhouse, Converse, before hosting Emmanuel (Ga.) for the first-ever match-up between the Trojans and the Lions on Sept. 7. The Black and Gold will then look to continue their unbeaten streak against the Falcons of Montevallo in Alabama on Sept. 10.
SAC play begins with Anderson welcoming Emory & Henry to South Carolina on Sept. 14, before making the short trip north to Mars Hill on Sept. 19. The Trojans wrap-up September traveling to face North Georgia on Sept. 24, followed by a home game on Sept. 27 against Tusculum.
October begins with four-straight league games, as AU hosts Lenoir-Rhyne (Oct. 1) and Wingate (Oct. 11) and travels to Catawba (Oct. 4) and Coker (Oct. 18). The Trojans will then conclude non-con play with a short commute to North Greenville on Oct. 21.
Anderson will round out the regular season with a home game against Lincoln Memorial (Oct. 28) and back-to-back road games against Carson-Newman (Nov. 1) and Newberry (Nov. 5).
