GREENEVILLE, TENN. – Post-season began for Anderson men's cross country team on Saturday morning with the South Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Tusculum University. The men's team raced first, landing 2nd on the leaderboard.
"I could not be prouder of how our guys ran today on what may be the toughest course we have ever run." said head coach Kevin Eagle.
The Black and Gold finished the tough course with six All-Conference athletes, as redshirt-junior
Elliot Dotson (Simpsonville, S.C.) finished 3rd with a time of 26:39.27 for a First-Team finish, followed by redshirt-senior

Senior

th in the race with a time of 27:13.86. Rounding out the scoring for Anderson was junior
Sean McAdams (Greenville, S.C.) with a top-25 finish of 27:44.89.
"They packed up well towards the front of the field and it showed by having our top six men in the top 15 overall. It was a full team effort that shows how gritty this team can be when conditions are not ideal. This is by far the best SAC Championship meet the men have ever had."
The Trojans look ahead to the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships in two weeks (Nov. 8) hosted by No. 2 Wingate.
