Women’s Basketball Moves Up to No. 22 in D2SIDA National Poll

ANDERSON, S.C.  - The Anderson women's basketball team is riding an eight game win streak and has moved up one slot to No. 22 in the Division II Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA, and are receiving votes in the Women's Basketball Coaches (WBCA) Poll.

Anderson (10-2), which sits at the top of the South Atlantic Conference with an unblemished 4-0 record won its eighth straight win on Sunday afternoon with a victory over nonconference opponent Auburn Montgomery.

The Trojans remained steady at No. 2 in the D2SIDA Regional Rankings.

Anderson faces off with SAC foe Wingate tonight to begin a four-game road swing that includes stops at Coker, Carson-Newman and Newberry. Tip-off against the Bulldogs is slated for 6 pm.
