Head Coach Joe Miller announced the addition of former Newberry right-hander Jonathan Rosenberger as an assistant coach in June, 2015.
Rosenberger came to the Electric City after a stellar career with the Wolves, being named to the All-South Atlantic Conference postseason, headlined by an appearance on the All-SAC First Team following his sophomore campaign. In 2015, the right-hander led Newberry in strikeouts with 83, while tossing 73 innings with 16 appearances.
Following his senior season, the Wren High School product was one of four Wolves to land on the SAC Honorable Mention list. For his career, the Anderson, S.C. native recorded 213 strikeouts and just 82 walks in 244 innings.
Before attending Newberry, Rosenberger was a standout at Wren where he was a two-time all-region selection and the 2010 Golden Arm Coaches' Award winner. During his youth baseball days, Rosenberger participated in the Big League World Series twice.
"I am excited to have Jonathan join our staff at Anderson," Miller said. "Jonathan will assist with our pitching staff and recruiting. After a successful playing career in the SAC, we looking forward to the impact Jonathan will have on our program."
In the classroom, Rosenberger majored in Business Administration and was a member of the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll, which highlights student-athletes with a cumulate GPA of 3.3 or higher throughout the academic year
