Women's Tennis Falls in SAC Tournament to Newberry, 5-2

ROCK HILL, S.C. – After dropping all three doubles matches, fifth-seeded Anderson University women’s tennis was unable to make a comeback in the singles round, as fourth-seeded Newberry eliminated the Trojans from the postseason with a 5-2 victory in the quarterfinals of the 2014 South Atlantic Conference Tournament on Wednesday at the Rock Hill Tennis Center. Trojans Place Three on All-SAC Postseason Teams

ROCK HILL, S.C. – After the 2014 women’s tennis regular season wrapped up last Sunday, the South Atlantic Conference has announced on Tuesday its annual postseason teams and honorable mention list, as Anderson University women’s tennis has placed three on the All-SAC Second Team squad and the experienced doubles tandem of senior Avery Owens and junior Karen Ching was named to the All-SAC Second Team.
