Kelsey Cannon

Kelsey Cannon joined the Trojan athletic training staff in January, 2012 after serving as the athletic trainer at Iowa City West High School in the fall of 2011. Kelsey works with the men’s soccer, women’s basketball and softball teams.

She completed her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Coe College in 2008 and earned her master of science in sports administration at Eastern Illinois University in 2009, while assisting the Athletic Training Education Program as an academic graduate assistant.

Following her assistantship at EIU, Cannon completed her master of arts in higher education administration at Southeast Missouri State University in 2011 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. While at Southeast, she oversaw the sports medicine needs of men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams, women’s basketball, and women’s tennis and served as an approved clinical instructor for undergraduate athletic training students.
