ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University women’s golf team joins the Trojan men’s golf team in the Volunteer State on Monday and Tuesday, but will compete approximately 100 miles further east, as the women’s squad is slated to play in the 17th annual Agnes McAmis Memorial, hosted by Tusculum College at the Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, Tenn.
Two weeks ago, AU placed 13th at Wingate’s Pinehurst Challenge, with Natalie Feder leading the Trojan effort in 39th. Braiden Furtick shared 50th, while senior Katie Eskew and junior Sarah Timms shared 58th. Sophomore Arista Setro finished in a tie for 84th.
Paced by Eskew’s 27th-place finish, the Trojans placed 14th in Greeneville a year ago, with Garyt Hamilton and Timms finishing in the 50th spot. Setro, who competed as an individual, placed 59th, while Feder tied for 82nd.
