TROJANS STAY UNBEATEN IN CVAC

BANNER ELK, N.C. -- The Anderson University men's tennis team kept its perfect CVAC record in place with a 7-2 victory over Lees-McRae Tuesday. Anderson, 12-6 overall and 7-0 in the CVAC, has won four straight matches and seven of its last nine. Lees-McRae falls to 9-8, 3-4. Anderson lost just 11 games in the final five singles matches. Renato Assuncao blanked Blair Propert at No. 4, and Marc Pibernat lost just two games to Romulus Teague at No. 5. Singles -- Shean Sumner (LM) def.
