Anderson attempted just 17 shots in the first half and three of those were blocked by the 6-foot-6 Bales. Duke had 20 offensive rebounds in the first half and scored 23 second-chance points. After Anderson scored on consecutive possessions for the first time in the game late in the first half – Mikala Fogle-Wilson at 2:25 and Shanice Wilson at 1:46 – Duke’s next three baskets were 3-point goals by Emily Waner. Waner’s final trey gave the Blue Devils at 63-14 lead at the half. For the game, Duke shot 42 percent while limiting Anderson to 24 percent. Duke was 28-for-41 from the free throw line. Anderson will play its third and final exhibition game Tuesday at Clemson. Tip-off is 7 p.m. at Littlejohn Coliseum.
