January 28, 2009ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson University Trojans continued their winning ways by beating Belmont Abbey 99-93 at The Abney Center on Monday night. Anderson improves to 8-3 in Conference Carolinas play. The Trojans had three players with 20+ points.
Brandon Young had 23, Stephen Cobb had 22, and Nick Trull had 21. Kevis Cornwell had 14 points and 6 rebounds. Richard Barbee led the Crusaders with 27. Anderson returns to action Saturday when they travel to Queens University of Charlotte. Anderson won the first meeting 82-74.
