Coker's Treys Too Much For Trojans

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Coker outscored Anderson University 51-6 from behind the arc on its way to a 69-48 victory over the Trojans in a CVAC game Monday night. Coker, 7-16 overall and 4-13 in the league, made 17 of 31 (55 percent) from behind the arc. The Cobras made just five two-point baskets in the game. Jason Fulwood (16 points) and Ben Brim (14 points) both made four treys for the Cobras. Nathan Russell and Kris Fudzinskas scored 10 points apiece for Anderson. Coker made nine 3-point goals in the first half to build a 34-23 halftime lead. Coker finished the game at 48 percent from the field and 55 percent from behind the arc. Anderson shot 39 percent from the field. Thanks to its 3-point shooting, Coker averaged 1.21 points per possession. Anderson is now 3-20, 3-13.
