Men's Golf in Fourth at Tusculum Invitational

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Led by Sean Shelton’s even-par 71, the Anderson men’s golf team is in fourth place following day one of the Tusculum College Invitational, hosted par 71, 6,733-yard Link Hills Country Club.

The Trojans shot 298 as a team and trail co-leaders Lee and Lincoln Memorial by 13 strokes heading into the second and final round on Sunday. Anderson is seven shots behind the host Pioneers.
                                     
Shelton’s opening-round effort placed him in a tie for ninth, while Arran Setro shares 24th following a first-round 74. David Wachter is two shots further back in a tie for 32nd, while CJ Messana carded a 77 and is tied for 42nd. Rob Warren notched a first-round 78 and shares the 48th spot.

Sunday’s final round is slated to tee off at 9 a.m.
