AC's Zoric Signs Pro Contract In Argentina

ANDERSON, S.C. Former Anderson College basketball player Marko Zoric has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Argentina. Zoric, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound native of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, will play for Quilmes, a pro team located in Mar Del Plata, Argentina. The team will begin practice sessions in September. In 54 games at AC, Zoric averaged 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game for the Trojans. Zoric earned his AC degree in business administration in May 2003. He was named business student of the year, and he finished his academic career with a 4.0 GPA.
