Seabrook Caps Career With First-Team HonorMarch 7, 2003
MISEHEIMER, N.C. – Robbie Seabrook of Anderson College was named to the All-Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference first team Friday night. Seabrook, a 6-foot-3 senior from North Charleston, S.C., averaged 20.2 points per game to lead the Trojans in scoring. He scored 526 points in his final season with the Trojans, the most ever by an Anderson player in a single season. He also set the school record for 3-point goals made in a single season (109), and he made nine 3-point goals in a single game two times during the season. He made five or more 3-point goals in 11 games. He is the first AC player to score more than 100 3-point goals in a single season. Seabrook, a first-team All-CVAC selection last season and a preseason All-CVAC pick this season, shot 46 percent from the field, 43 percent from 3-point range, and 71 percent from the free throw line. He also averaged 6.3 rebounds per game. Seabrook’s season highs were 36 points against Erskine on Feb. 1 and 13 rebounds against Mount Olive on Dec. 2. Seabrook finished his career with 1,229 points, third on the Anderson career scoring list. For his career, Seabrook made 235 3-point goals and shot 37 percent from behind the arc.
